Senior Staff Accountant | Corporate Accounting | Houston Galleria | On-Site Job Summary Partners is seeking an on-site Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in our Houston Galleria office. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, from bank activity, accounts payable, and accounts receivable through journal entries, reconciliations, and the month-end close. This is a hands-on position for an experienced Sage Intacct user who takes initiative, works with minimal oversight, and wants to make a real impact on a growing team. Our Corporate Accounting team runs on tight, overlapping deadlines, and priorities can shift quickly. The person in this seat thrives on that pace. How You'll Make an Impact Record daily bank activity, including AR receipts and AP payments, across multiple entities Process accounts payable, including generating purchase orders, posting bills, and maintaining accurate vendor records for multiple entities Prepare accounts receivable invoices, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures Monitor AR collections across multiple entities Prepare journal entries Perform bank reconciliations Monitor and approve credit card transactions in accordance with company policies Perform and assist with balance sheet account reconciliations Perform and assist with the month-end close Research, track, and resolve accounting issues Maintain accurate and complete accounting records Protect the company by maintaining strict confidentiality Provide general operations support as needed Take on additional accounting duties as needed What You'll Bring Must-Haves 3+ years of full-cycle general ledger experience (AR, AP, CM, GL) Intermediate or advanced Sage Intacct experience Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to take initiative and stay proactive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Nice-to-Haves Experience with Apto/Salesforce Multi-entity accounting experience Background in commercial real estate or professional services Personal Attributes Proactive self-starter: You take initiative, anticipate needs, and act before being asked.
