Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to maintain quality and freshness.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and create new dishes.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of catering and food service industry practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special dietary needs.
- Understanding of food safety principles and ability to follow proper sanitation procedures.
