As we grow our production operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a Manufacturing Operator at Signetik, you will play a hands‑on role in the assembly, testing, and shipment of electronic hardware products. You will work directly with test equipment and production tooling, support inventory tracking, and help ensure that every product leaving our facility meets quality standards. This is a ground‑floor opportunity to grow within a technically driven company building real-world IoT and wireless products. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor functional test fixtures and production test equipment to verify product performance against defined test plans Execute firmware and software programming of electronic assemblies using production programming tools and fixtures Operate general manufacturing equipment in accordance with work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards Document test results, identify failures, and escalate defects to engineering for disposition Assemble electronic and mechanical products from bills of materials and work instructions, including enclosure assembly, cable harnessing, connector termination, and hardware installation Follow assembly work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure consistent, accurate builds across production runs Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections to verify assembly quality before advancing units to test Perform through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering, rework, and touch‑up on electronic assemblies as needed (training provided; prior experience a plus) Assist with board‑level inspection, including visual checks and continuity verification prior to functional test Receive, count, label, and store incoming components and finished goods in accordance with inventory procedures Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation Pull and kit components for production work orders, ensuring accurate quantities and correct part numbers Flag discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns on incoming material to the appropriate team member Pack finished goods for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials to protect products during transit Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and packing slips in compliance with customer and carrier requirements Coordinate with carriers for outbound shipments and process returns or incoming freight as needed Maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving area Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework or vocational training in electronics preferred Prior experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment is a plus but not required Basic familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and electronic test equipment is desirable Soldering experience is a plus; willingness to learn and develop the skill is required Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work Ability to follow written work instructions, bills of materials, and test procedures Comfortable working in a hands‑on production environment with occasional lifting up to 40 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a small, collaborative team Basic computer proficiency for logging test results, printing labels, and processing shipments #J-18808-Ljbffr Signetik, LLC
