School Speech Language Pathologist - Long Beach, California

Full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)-including those with CCC and CFY credentials-are invited to work across a range of placements from elementary to high school. With a dynamic blend of five-days onsite, split site assignments, or home hospital programs, you'll have a meaningful impact on diverse student populations, from mainstream classes to those with extensive or mild/moderate needs. Caseloads also include non-public and private school settings, ensuring a rich, varied professional experience.


What we're seeking:

• Active SLP license and CTC required
• SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or in the process of securing supervision
• Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
• Thorough understanding of IEP processes and progress monitoring
• Skilled in providing speech and language therapy for a range of ages/needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between local sites if needed
• Committed to culturally responsive, student-focused practice

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering direct therapy services to students in elementary or high school programs
• Managing caseloads across one or two sites, and supporting home hospital instruction as assigned
• Conducting screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations in accordance with legal and district guidelines
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintaining accurate documentation and timely case management
• Adapting therapy to meet the unique needs of each student population
