Mental Health Technician DriverCanyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Central Texas town of Temple, Texas. Canyon Creek features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs. The Mental Health Technician Driver coordinates and provides transportation services for patients attending outpatient programs. To ensure safe and timely transportation; milieu management and crisis intervention. Patients served may include adolescents and adults.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patientUtilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and documents any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior, or ability to work toward treatment plan goalsCommunicate changes in patient's condition to the charge nurseAbout Universal Health Services:One of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc. MHT's may be required to work weekends, overtime, nights, and have flexible hours. Must complete and maintain all training requirements as an Mental Health Technician and a Driver.
