About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients. Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition. Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.
