Multimedia Account Executive

(Local candidates only) KZIA is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Account Executive to help local businesses grow through innovative radio and digital marketing solutions. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering business challenges, and developing customized marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. As an Account Executive, you will serve as a trusted marketing consultant to businesses throughout Eastern Iowa, helping clients connect with consumers through KZIA's powerful radio brands, digital advertising platforms, events, and integrated marketing solutions. Key Responsibilities Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community involvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, executives, and marketing decision-makers. Conduct needs analysis and business discovery meetings to understand client goals, challenges, and growth opportunities. Develop strategic, customized radio and digital marketing campaigns designed to help clients achieve their business objectives. Present integrated marketing solutions including radio advertising, streaming audio, social media, digital display, video, SEO, SEM, website solutions, sponsorships, and event marketing opportunities. Collaborate with programming, promotions, digital, and creative teams to develop effective campaigns and client presentations. Monitor campaign performance and provide ongoing recommendations to maximize client results and return on investment. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and forecasting within company CRM systems. Represent KZIA professionally within the community and at networking events, client meetings, and station promotions. Qualifications Sales experience preferred, with media, advertising, marketing, or business-to-business sales experience a plus. But it is not required. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to think strategically and create customized solutions for clients. Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic. Comfortable prospecting and developing new business opportunities. Passion for helping local businesses grow and succeed.
