Job Details Location: Midtown, Kansas City, MO 64130 Position Type: Full Time Role The Relationship Advisor delivers exceptional member service, fosters strong relationships, and provides personalized financial guidance. The role includes product and service recommendations, transaction processing, and participation in sales and marketing campaigns. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Welcome and engage members, actively listening to understand their financial needs. Accurately process a variety of financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, account transfers). Open new accounts (consumer, fiduciary, business, savings, checking, money‑market, CDs, IRAs) and ensure compliance with documentation requirements. Proactively identify and recommend credit‑union products and services, including loans, credit cards, and online banking solutions. Achieve individual and team sales and production goals through active promotion of products and participation in marketing campaigns. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions and member interactions. Resolve member concerns professionally, escalating complex issues as needed. Stay current with product knowledge and participate in ongoing training and development. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and credit‑union policies (BSA, security protocols, confidentiality). Support branch operations and assist other team members with operational tasks. Build and sustain positive relationships with members and team members. Proven track record of achieving sales goals and building strong customer relationships. Experience handling cash and balancing transactions accurately. Preferred Experience Proficiency with financial software and systems. Experience opening and closing accounts, processing loan applications, and providing financial advice. Strong retail banking experience. Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Other Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic sales techniques and ability to understand member needs. Developing knowledge of financial products and services. Ability to work effectively with supervision and in a team setting. Organized and effective time-management skills. Maintains confidentiality and follows ethical guidelines. Physically able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Willing to multitask and prioritize. Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing. Open to ongoing training and professional growth. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for periods up to 8 hours. Able to lift 25 lbs. Use computer, tablet, phone, copier, fax, and calculator. Ability to work extended hours and attend regularly, including Saturdays. Work Environment Climatically controlled indoor shared environment with minimal noise.
