1st shift CNC Laser Operator

Custom Staffing is seeking experienced and mechanically inclined 1st CNC Laser Operator . Position is located in Sidney, Ohio. Schedule 1st Shift: 5:55 AM - 4:00 PM M-TH with OT Fri-Sun 5:55 AM - 2:00 PM Overtime: Thur - Sat 9:55 PM - 6:00 AM. This area has been frequently working 6-7 day work weeks so the ability to work overtime is a must Job Responsibilities Startup, operation, and shutdown of CNC fiber laser machine. Select nozzles for particular material being processed. Load programs and set machine parameters to achieve best performance. Perform first, last and periodical checks on parts and complete associated quality documents. Follow routers, schedules and work instructions. Communicate machine/quality issues to maintenance and quality to support personnel. Other duties as assigned. Education, Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred but not required. Basic reading, writing, and some advanced math skills required. Using hand tools and machines proficiently. Measuring, cutting, or working on items with great accuracy.
