Our client, a leading manufacturing facility, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay Range: $25 - $35hr

Shift: Second shift

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repairs promptly
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and safety standards

What's Needed?

• Relevant credentials or experience as indicated by credential requirement 100006
• Ability to work 40 hours a week plus overtime as needed
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in a non-union facility environment
