Specialty Representative - Virology HCV - (Greater Seattle, Tacoma, WA, Alaska)

Field-based specialty sales representative for hepatitis C virus treatments at AbbVie, covering Greater Seattle, Tacoma, and Alaska. The role focuses on executing brand strategy, managing territory accounts, and building customer relationships to drive sales performance while prioritizing patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategy and sales tactics to meet financial targets and KPIs in assigned territory
- Develop and execute call plans with SMART objectives, manage objections, and optimize customer access
- Build and maintain customer relationships by identifying and addressing healthcare provider needs
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, disease trends, and customer preferences with internal teams
- Identify and develop disease state experts and speakers to differentiate AbbVie's value proposition
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or five years industry experience with three in pharma
- Proven track record of successful pharmaceutical sales with strong presentation abilities
- In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge in assigned area
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screening
- HCIR credentialing eligibility and ability to obtain required health care credentials
- Demonstrated ability to adapt sales approach, build relationships, and operate in matrix environment
- Willingness to travel extensively within territory and attend overnight training events
