Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher credential required
- Experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for growth
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
- Monitor and assess student progress; maintain accurate records and documentation
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student goals and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and relevant school activities
