Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Programis a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelonglearning and the education and training of Pharm.D. graduates. Akey element of the program's success is preparing Fellows to meetevolving workforce needs across various sectors of thepharmaceutical industry. Fellows have the opportunity to work closely with our innovativebiopharmaceutical industry partners, while engaging withNortheastern University faculty in professional and careerdevelopment, teaching, service, and scholarly activities. In partnership with Northeastern University, Dompé is offering atwo-year fellowship in Global Medical Affairs - Real-World Evidence& Health Economics and Outcomes Research (RWE/HEOR), basedremotely.

The Pharmacy Postdoctoral Fellow will join the Real-World Evidence/ Health Economics and Outcomes Research (RWE/HEOR) team for atwo-year commitment, where they will be immersed in a variety ofGlobal Medical Affairs activities. Year 1 is a dedicated immersionin RWE/HEOR, with experience in integrated evidence generation plan(IEGP) development, RWE generation, HEOR strategy and analytics,health technology assessment, value dossier development, and payerengagement. Year 2 consists of two 6-month rotations in GlobalMedical Affairs functions, selected from: Medical EngagementStrategy, Medical Communications, Medical Information &Operations, Patient Advocacy, and Field Medical. Throughout Year 2,the fellow will continue to dedicate approximately 25% of theirtime to the RWE/HEOR team, with the remaining time devoted to theactive rotation. The fellow will also have the opportunity to learnabout various industry functions such as Research & Development(Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics),Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, or the CommercialOrganization through longitudinal projects. The fellow will alsohave the opportunity to attend Medical Congresses. Rotations may beextended at the discretion of the rotation supervisor. Otherrotations can be arranged based on availability and interest of thefellow.

Responsibilities

• Manage the generation of foundational epidemiologic data forcross-functional partners across all therapeutic areas andfunctions
• Learn the tasks, processes, and industry standards involved inconducting RWE, HEOR, and epidemiologic research activities
• Assist in managing integrated evidence plans across therapeuticareas
• Contribute to the design and execution of RWE and HEOR studies,including concept documents, protocols, statistical analysis plans,and study reports
• Contribute actively to the development and launch of RWE/HEORstrategies within the team
• Support development of global value dossiers, health technologyassessment (HTA) submissions, and payer-facing value communicationmaterials
• Support health economic modeling (e.g., cost-effectiveness andbudget-impact models) and systematic literature reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regulatory, marketing,sales, legal, and clinical development) to communicate up-to-datedata generation plans and needs as a subject matter expert
• Support the RWE/HEOR team in overseeing operational activitiesfor the team's projects
• Participate in Northeastern University academic activities,including teaching, precepting, service, and a longitudinalscholarly project
• Build the experience and skills needed to succeed on anepidemiology, RWE Sciences, and/or HEOR team in the biotechindustry

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institutionor PhD in relevant life science
• Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State ofMassachusetts, if candidate has a Pharm.D.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management and leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently, collaborate in across-functional environment across multiple time zone, and takeinitiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site andNortheastern
• Demonstrated interest in real-world evidence, epidemiology,health economics, or outcomes research through prior research,coursework, or rotation experience

Expected Hiring Range:

$60,315.00 - $85,192.50

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will dependon several factors, which may include your education, experience,location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a paycomparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject tochange.
