Welder - 2nd Shift

Location: Lamar, SC

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM

Overtime: Possible overtime on Fridays as needed

About the Position

Olsten Staffing is currently seeking experienced Welders to join a manufacturing team in Lamar, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders who have hands-on welding experience, take pride in producing quality work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding according to specifications and production requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

• Set up welding equipment and make adjustments as needed.

• Inspect completed welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Use welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous welding work experience required ; MIG welding experience strongly preferred.

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

• Ability to use a tape measure and basic measuring tools.

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Ability to produce consistent, quality welds.

• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and welding environment.

Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
