Position Details

• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients across childhood, adult, and senior age groups utilizing standardized assessment tools and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognition, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions honing in on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care plans.
• Provide resources and educational support to patients and families to promote progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Facilitate periodic inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless care experience for each patient.
• Keep detailed and timely documentation per regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Remain informed on the latest trends and developments in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licensure and Credentials

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
