Customer Service Representative
Location: Charlotte, NC 28277
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour
Duration: 21 weeks, contract to hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Any 8 hours worked between 7am and 6 pm)
Schedule
- Work any 8 hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Lunch: 30-minute minimum, up to 1 hour
- After 90 days , the position can work from home on Fridays
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain customer profiles
- Set up new customers and verify required information
- Set up customer billing and operational requirements
- Confirm billing information with customer Accounts Payable contacts
- Monitor and respond to customer requests by email
- Assist with EDI and API onboarding
- Review customer credit usage and escalate issues when needed
Required:
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including:
- Word
- Excel
- Outlook
Preferred:
- 1+ year of transportation industry experience
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to identify and improve processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel experience, including:
- Pivot tables
- VLOOKUPs
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
