Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a current, valid Physical Therapy license in Illinois
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric Physical Therapy settings is highly valued
• Solid communication skills to coordinate with staff, parents, and students
• Ability to adapt PT interventions for different grade levels and needs
• Strong organizational abilities, with attention to documenting student progress
• Passion for enhancing mobility, independence, and participation in school life

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment goals for students
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to support functional movement within the school setting
• Educate and coach staff and families on carryover strategies and accessibility
• Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in eligibility and progress meetings
• Ensure all interventions meet legal, ethical, and best-practice standards
