This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with educators and families to deliver high-quality therapy services in a vibrant educational environment near Tinley Park, IL. Your expertise in physical therapy will empower children to reach their highest potential, supporting development, mobility, and participation in school activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois
- Experience delivering physical therapy services within a school or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to diverse student populations
- Adaptable, organized, and committed to fostering student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations of students’ physical needs
- Develop, implement, and track progress for individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students' educational goals
- Deliver engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Provide training and resources to school staff regarding adaptive equipment and positioning techniques
