Production Generalist

We have an immediate need for a hands-on, customer-driven Production Generalist in Madison, AL . This position is responsible for providing leadership to safely meet production goals. Starting rate is $22.50 for 1 st shift and $22.50 + $1.00 shift differential for 2 nd shift Responsibilities and Duties: Track team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, productivity Countermeasure KPI’s for quality defects, performance, safety, productivity issues Implement kaizens in assigned area(s) and promote continuous improvement (including new ideas, projects and practices) Enforce policies, procedures, and practices Monitor safety and enforce safety protocol in assigned area Oversee TPM/PM (daily checks) on equipment Approve timekeeping records for assigned group(s) Act as liaison between Vuteq and corresponding department group leader at

Report on supplier part problems to Quality Department Review defects at MTMUS Oversee and maintain 5S of assigned area(s) Evaluate processes for improvement ideasWork directly with the Production Manager to perform other duties as assigned In downtime and as required, assist with other departments needs Must possess a HS/GED diploma : Demonstrated leadership skills Demonstrated ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness Demonstrated ability to comply with and enforce policies, procedures and practices Strong attention to detail Must have problem solving capabilities Exhibit professional and respectful behavior at all times Software Proficiency: Microsoft Excel (Basic formulas) Microsoft Word Microsoft PowerPoint Working Conditions: This position requires physical exertion. The employee will regularly walk and frequently stand, walk, reach, or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
