Senior Pastor

Hopewell First Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who feels called by God to serve our congregation. Located in rural Hampton County at 6404 Hopewell Road, our church is situated about five miles south of Hampton, SC. We are affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Allendale-Hampton Baptist Association. Hopewell is looking for a pastor who meets the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The candidate must uphold the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We prefer applicants to have 3-5 years of experience in pastoral ministry and ideally hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Divinity or Theology from an Southern Baptist Convention seminary or an accredited university aligned with the SBC. The church provides a parsonage with utilities, internet, and security included.
