Position Overview Schedule: Part-Time (3 days a week) Compensation: Dependent upon experience level Location: SmileAlive in Eugene, Oregon Key Responsibilities Precision Billing: Manage dental insurance claims, electronic attachments, and claim appeals with a high success rate. Patient Advocacy: Explain complex treatment plans and financial responsibilities to patients with clarity and empathy. Accounts Receivable: Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding insurance and patient balances. Front Office Flow: Manage high-volume scheduling, patient check-in/out, and multi-line phone systems. What You Bring to the Table Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in a dental office setting. Billing Expertise: Deep knowledge of CDT coding, PPO/HMO/Medicaid plans, and the pre-authorization process. Software Proficiency: Experience with Dentrix required Why Join SmileAlive?
