Accounting Clerk

Job Description

Bridget Killen from Robert Half is partnering with an employer to find an Accounting Clerk with experience processing accounts payable invoices in a high-volume environment. Based on general knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of AP invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
Respond to vendor and internal accounts payable inquiries
Maintain organized records and support month-end AP activities

Previous experience in accounts payable or an accounting clerk role
Strong data entry and invoice processing skills
Ability to manage high-volume workload and meet deadlines
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
