We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Healthcare industry. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounts payable and a knack for data analysis. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at handling high-volume data entry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the prepaid accounts payable function, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Handle high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
3. Perform matching and batching of invoices, verifying details to ensure correct payment.
4. Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
5. Conduct Accounts Payable GL coding, ensuring all entries are accurately coded and classified.
6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
7. Prepare and maintain financial reports, providing key insights into the company's financial health.
8. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
9. Participate in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
10. Continually identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the Healthcare industry.
3. Proficiency in prepaid accounts payable, matching and batching invoices, and high-volume data entry.
4. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable GL coding.
5. Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, and other data analysis functions.
6. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
8. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
9. Experience with financial software systems, with a quick ability to learn new technologies.
10. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
11. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
