Teller/Member Service Representative Responsibilities As a Teller/Member Service Representative, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding member service and supporting daily branch operations. This position combines customer service, cash handling, and financial product education to help members make informed financial decisions. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional member and customer service during every interaction Build strong relationships with members and identify financial needs Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other transactions accurately Maintain cash drawer balances and follow cash handling procedures Recommend appropriate credit union products and services based on member needs Support branch sales and service goals through relationship building Follow all operational, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with members and team members in person, over the phone, and through electronic channels Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Strong customer service and communication skills Basic math, computer, and problem-solving abilities Cash handling, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn Build Your Future with Kohler Credit Union Whether you’re looking for an entry-level banking position, transitioning from retail or hospitality, or seeking a long-term financial services career, Kohler Credit Union offers the training, support, and growth opportunities to help you succeed.
