We offer an unrivalled integrated approach to medical communications from across the globe.Inizio is expanding its footprint in the publication space and is looking for a senior level director to lead the scientific team and provide strategic account oversight. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape the department and grow the publication team and business.The right individual must have strong work experience in the publication space with a focus on Oncology. This is a client-facing role that requires directing client strategy, staff mentoring / management, leading scientific teams in content creation, and partnering with the VPs of scientific and client services and managing director in business development, among other responsibilities.Responsibilities:Manage scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic publication focusUnder the guidance of the scientific VP, lead and manage account to ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team growsDevelop and grow publication work partnering with VPs of scientific and client services and managing directorsIdentify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needsDevelop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshopsDemonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information in OncologyFoster innovation and collaboration across ApotheCom to position agency as leader in publication workAdditional Requirements:PhD, PharmD, MD with 10+ years of experience of relevant medical communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of publication oncology workTrack record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categoriesUS launch experience required; Global experience is a plusSome travel will be requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing staff / direct reports (potentially based across multiple locations)This position is open to candidates who are looking for a fully remote or hybrid opportunity based in the United States (east coast preferred).In addition to a competitive package, we are known for our friendly and informal working environment.
