Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, assist with procedures, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
• Prepare patients for procedures, assist with bedside procedures, and provide post-procedure care and discharge planning.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to nursing standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of assignment (California)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• At least two years of recent ER or acute care experience
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and meet 36 hours per week
