Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, guaranteed 40 hours per week, evenings (5x8) shift. Pay range: $2,232 to $2,394 per week. Setting: critical access hospital; travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients throughout the intraoperative period
- Prepare the operating room, ensure sterile technique, and assist with procedures as directed
- Monitor patient condition during surgery and coordinate with the surgical team, anesthesia, and circulating nurses
- Collect relevant data, document care, and participate in post-operative planning and recovery processes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety, comfort, and efficient workflow
- Direct and supervise assigned nursing staff, delegating tasks as appropriate and maintaining a safe environment
- Educate patients and families about perioperative care and discharge expectations

Requirements
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least two years of recent experience in a field-related acute care setting preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work in an operating room environment and participate in a travel assignment with on-call requirements
