Accounting Assistant HYBRID

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant HYBRID to support a growing accounting team. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and general ledger support experience. Key Responsibilities Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate, organized financial documentation. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoice processing by verifying invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with vendor records. Perform data entry, journal postings, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger updates under supervision. Prepare Excel reports, reconciliations, and financial records for management review. Assist with month‑end close support, variance tracking, and file preparation for internal reviews. Help improve internal accounting procedures, maintain confidentiality, and support compliance with company accounting policies. Qualifications 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AP, reconciliations, GL support). Proficiency with accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains highly preferred. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $25 to $31 per hour. Job Type: Temp‑to‑Hire. Schedule: Full‑Time, Monday‑Friday. Work Arrangement: Hybrid Schedule. Location: Carlsbad, CA.
