Special Projects Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Project Manager – Operations & Special Projects to support strategic initiatives across our transportation and logistics network. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys problem-solving, operational improvement, and driving projects from concept through execution in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support and eventually lead new account launches across the organization. Manage special projects and strategic initiatives that drive operational improvements and business growth. Partner with Operations, Billing, IT, Safety, and other departments to identify and resolve operational challenges. Lead process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Support the implementation of technology, system integrations, and other division-wide initiatives. Conduct operational audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards. Provide operational support and leadership coverage for field locations when needed. Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Analyze operational performance data and develop actionable recommendations for improvement. Travel throughout North America to support account launches, audits, special projects, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations experience will be considered. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, with travel assignments typically lasting 1-2 weeks. Passport in hand or willingness to obtain one. Flexibility to support launches, projects, and operational needs, including occasional second- or third-shift coverage. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, project management, or operations leadership preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
