Development Head, RSV, RSV Combination, and Early Vaccine Programs

Pfizer seeks an experienced clinical development leader to oversee vaccine research programs for RSV and related therapeutics. The role involves directing global clinical trials, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic decisions across the vaccine development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level oversight of global clinical programs and Clinical Development Plans
- Lead and oversee one or more Clinical Project Teams and supervise clinical staff performance
- Establish program priorities, resolve clinical issues, and communicate program status to senior management
- Oversee clinical trial implementation, safety monitoring, and regulatory compliance across studies
- Review and approve key regulatory documents, clinical study reports, and manuscript submissions
Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent)
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience in clinical research and registration
- End-to-end vaccine clinical development experience required
- Ability to critically evaluate scientific and medical information independently
- Strategic thinking and capacity to propose innovative drug development concepts
- Experience leading complex programs in matrixed organizational environments
