Industrial Maintenance Tech

Grow with this top GM supplier! A Sidney MFG, a lead supplier to the auto industry, has full time jobs open for Industrial Maintenance Techs @ $25-$30 per hour, based on experience/knowledge. The positions are a 12 hour, Swing shift on Nights, 5 PM – 5:30 AM.

Duties to include :

• Install and maintain production machines & facility equipment.
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment in service.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
• Perform simple machinists duties and responsibilities.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Repair 480 Volt 3-phase motors, DC motors up to 700 HP & single phase 110-220 Volt motors.
• Troubleshoot, set up, and repair raw material feeder systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Have thorough knowledge of emergency E-stops, safety trip ropes, safety equipment and procedures.

Tech Skill Requirements:

• Industrial 480 Volt electrical application.
• PLC/CNC Programming experience
• Mechanically Inclined
• Pneumatics
• Hydraulics
• Experience with shop tools, i.e. Lathes, Bridgeport, etc.
