For more information, visit of Role: The Deputy Director, Aerospace & Defense End Market will serve as a senior business development and market growth leader responsible for expanding the company's presence across aerospace, defense, space, national security, and critical infrastructure markets.Reporting to the Senior Director, head of the Aerospace & Defense End Market, this individual will focus on identifying, developing, and capturing strategic business opportunities while building deep relationships across the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem. The successful candidate will leverage an extensive professional network to drive customer engagement, create new revenue opportunities, influence technology roadmaps, and support long-term growth objectives.This role requires an individual who combines strong market knowledge, executive relationship-building capabilities, and business development expertise with a solid understanding of semiconductor and microelectronics technologies. While technical acumen is important, the primary emphasis of this position is opportunity creation, customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and business growth.The position will be based in Santa Clara, California and will primarily support business growth across the Western United States and key innovation hubs. The scope of responsibility is not limited to the West Coast and includes support for strategic customers, government stakeholders, and partners throughout North America and allied international years of experience within Aerospace, Defense, Space, Semiconductor, Electronics, National Security, or related industries.Demonstrated success in business development, market development, strategic sales, customer engagement, or capture management roles.Proven ability to create, develop, and close strategic business opportunities.Experience engaging with executive-level customer and government stakeholders.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Working knowledge of semiconductor technologies and microelectronics applications.Ability to travel as Engineering, Science, or Business.Travel RequirementsApproximately 25% travel.Frequent travel throughout the Western United States.Regular travel to customer sites, government stakeholders, industry
