Part Time Bus Drivers Vacancies (signing bonus available)

Lakeview School District is seeking individuals to work part time as bus drivers.


MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess a valid Michigan driver's license with a positive driving record and ability to obtain a CDL license with P, S, endorsement.
• Ability to pass the Michigan Department of Transportation physical.
• Ability to Pass the new beginning bus driver course.
• Ability to successfully complete the requirements of the Michigan School Safety legislation.
• Ability to work cooperatively and relate positively with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to read maps and/or follow oral or written instruction.
• Regular, dependable attendance is a critical performance factor to ensure consistent, high quality services to students and families.

Ready to drive school bus driver (has all driving requirements)

• $1250.00 signing bonus to be paid as follows:
• • after 60 driving days: $250.00
  • after 120 driving days: $500.00
  • after 180 driving days: $500.00

New school bus drivers that require training:

• $800.00 signing bonus to be paid as follows:
• • $200.00 with temporary permit
  • $200.00 pass CDL test
  • $200.00 upon 60 days of driving
  • $200.00 upon 120 days of driving

Rate of pay: $18.00-$18.50/hour depending on experience.
