Resource Coordinator

Under the general supervision of the Manager of the unit, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling as a charge agent. Develop, motivate, assess, and negotiate as a charge agent in an effort to enhance organizational effectiveness. Utilizes the nursing process to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Functions within the permissible scope of nursing practice as defined by the Georgia Board of Nursing and St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System policies and procedures. Education Associate Degree in Nursing - Required Experience 2-3 Years Registered Nurse in related perioperative field - Required License & Certification Professional Certification - Required Professional Nurse License with State of Practice – Required CNOR Attain ACLS certification beginning with first year of hire. Competency as evident in pursuing and maintaining national certification within subspecialty area Core Job Functions Provide and receive constructive feedback. Builds confidence in team members. Support change initiatives. Keep manager informed of department activities. Takes initiative to review unit/departmental customer or co‑worker satisfaction scores as posted in unit.
