Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Peds, available in the healthcare setting in an inpatient and outpatient environment. This role involves providing respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, with responsibilities including drawing arterial blood gases and occasionally performing electrocardiograms. The position requires a dedicated professional to support a busy clinical team with a variety of treatments and patient care needs.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid ACLS, BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) verification; minimum 1 year of experience
• Responsibilities include drawing arterial blood gases and assisting with electrocardiograms
• Position requires assisting respiratory management, with supervision and support from the department leadership
• Shift hours are 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility and ability to fill shifts as needed
• No floating to sister campuses is required
• The dress code is wine burgundy scrubs and department-specific equipment includes Drager, A40, LTV, Avea Ventilators, Vapotherms in nursery, and other respiratory equipment
• Hospitalist or intensivist staff are in house 24/7
