Description

The Vice President of Revenue Operations (VP RevOps) is responsible for creating, tracking and managing the systems, processes and activities that enable the Revenue Team to operate efficiently — and by the numbers.  Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the VP RevOps will lead a small but agile team that operates independently from Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, with the goal of better integrating and enabling these key functions, while playing a similar role in collaboration between Revenue and other Pathify departments.  The VP RevOps plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, while coordinating (and in most cases owning) foundational reporting capabilities including data collection, aggregation, and analysis.  

This is a senior leadership role within the Revenue Department, and will also be a key part of Pathify’s Operations Management Group (OMG) charged with the day-to-day operational management of the business.  

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Rapid mastery of the Revenue Team tech-stack, including but not limited to Salesforce, Hubspot Outreach, Zoominfo/Chorus, Orum, DocSend, etc.  
  • Serve as the administrator for all Revenue Team systems, delivering (or organizing) day-to-day support, training and enablement 
  • In partnership with the Pathify Executive Team and the Revenue Leadership Team, serve as the front line resource for all revenue reporting and analytics
  • Deep understanding of B2B Salesforce structures, processes and flows, including mastery of reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Deep understanding of Google Sheets and Excel
  • Strong understanding of Gemini, Claude, and other AI platforms with an up-to-date expertise in how world class revenue orgs improve performance — now and in the future
  • A strong service and support mentality, with a desire and willingness to help quota carrying staff close profitable business.  No job is too big or too small if it results in a positive win for the business.
  • A process oriented approach, with a daily devotion to developing, streamlining and optimizing tactical and strategic processes 
  • Awe-inspiring organizational skills and a willingness to provide ad-hoc reporting and updates across the business
  • A desire to understand, document and report on the entire customer journey, from identified lead through to customer renewal
  • A peacemaker mentality with proven skills in mediating, collaborating and bringing together people of different backgrounds, experience, and seniority to solve problems and succeed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with staff, regardless of seniority
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with Pathify partners, vendors and suppliers
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with board level audiences
  • Ability to assess, analyze, problem solve, and take appropriate action independently
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve beyond what is expected 
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to positive outcomes
  • Ability to think outside of the box, presenting innovative ideas and solutions internally and externally

  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software, including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • 15+ years senior leadership in RevOps, Sales and Marketing 
  • Productivity software mastery (Office 365/G-Suite)
  • Experience building employee onboarding plans 
  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience 
  • 5+ years B2B sales experience
    • Start-up professional experience a must
    • Sales enablement experience a must
