Clinical Sales Specialist, Long Island (ImmunoDiagnostics)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Account Manager III to drive diagnostic testing adoption across Long Island's healthcare market. The role combines field sales, customer relationship management, and strategic account planning to expand market share for immunodiagnostics products.
Responsibilities
- Drive diagnostic testing adoption by communicating clinical and economic value to physicians and healthcare facilities
- Develop and execute territory strategy to achieve sales goals and expand market share
- Train medical office staff on test ordering procedures and result interpretation
- Partner with laboratory teams and Business Development Executives on high-value implementations
- Manage account performance including planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, biology, marketing, business, or related field
- 3+ years sales experience in laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries
- Demonstrated success in medical or B2B technical sales or equivalent background
- Technical knowledge to understand customer applications and laboratory workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to travel 50-75% within territory
