Receiving ClerkThe Fox Studio Lot is looking for a Receiving Clerk to join their team!A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAct as a direct liaison to employees, clients, vendors, and various tradesActively participate in day-to-day operations for Studio Lot Resources, including but not limited to responding to incoming service requests via e-mail, telephone, voicemail, or in person. Must accurately identify, diagnose, prioritize, log, and dispatch the appropriate teamUtilize the electronic ticketing system according to department procedures for the opening, closing, resolution, escalation, and tracking of all service requestsProvide status updates and completion information to client and/or internal teamsPerform general clerical duties including but not limited to ordering supplies, placing service calls for equipment, filing, document scanning, folding, stuffing, stapling, addressing, metering, record keeping and photocopyingReceive, sort, and deliver parcels and packages as neededCoordinate, process, and track inbound and outbound material from carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers utilizing various software applicationsCreate an outstanding customer service experience by finding solutions that meet client shipping/receiving needsExecute daily shipping/receiving activities with a focus on efficiencyInspect inbound and outbound shipments for damage, discrepancies, and completenessTrack custody using an internal package tracking system on shipping/receiving transactions, including receiving client signatures for received materialStore, organize, and maintain all shipments and various parcels as needed, ensuring all items can be quickly retrievedOperate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lifts)Prepare and label outbound shipments in compliance with company standards and carrier regulations, including Bills of Lading and Customs DeclarationsMaintain accurate shipping/receiving and inventory records, perform regular auditsAssist with continuous improvement initiatives to streamline shipping/receiving workflowsPerform other duties as needed, including coverage for other Studio Lot Resources departments or job functionsWHAT YOU WILL NEEDPrior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or mail servicesStrong working knowledge of shipping software across multiple platforms and inventory management systemsHigh level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExceptional resourcefulness with a proactive mindset and outstanding organizational skillsSelf-starter who exercises sound judgement, takes initiative, and performs responsibilities independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for resultsProficient in FOX's software suite: MediaPulse, Coupa, FMI, ServiceNow, Fox Convene, and SCLogicAble to manage a high volume of work by balancing priorities effectively amongst a variety of diverse tasksAble to follow standardized operating proceduresAble to repetitively lift, carry, pull, push, and transport up to 50 lbs.Able to stand, walk, and sit as required to perform all job functionsAble to work overtime with short noticeAbility to maintain a working knowledge of all USPS, UPS, DHL, and FedEx regulationsAbility to readily adapt to changing requirementsAbility to repetitively reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps; walking up and down stairs, service ramps and using elevatorsAbility to operate PCs, Macs, handheld devices, mailing and shipping equipment/software (scales, meter machines, etc.)Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast paced, demanding startup environmentAbility to train across multiple job functionsMaintain confidentiality of company and client information, data, and materialsDependable/reliable with excellent attendance record.Valid California driver's license (without restrictions)Team player, with the ability to work well with othersAdhere to all departmental and company safety and security policies and procedures, and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuriesPolite and friendly with the ability to work with all co-workers, staff and customers, performing all duties in a professional, positive manner with a can-do attitudeWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
