About the Role

The Company is seeking a full-time Chief of Staff to support the Representative in advancing the policy agenda and legislative goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing legislative strategies, providing counsel on policy decisions, and monitoring legislative activities. This role also involves managing the day-to-day operations of the legislative office, including office activities, constituent and community engagement, and acting as the primary contact for all visitors. The Chief of Staff will be expected to work closely with the Representative to ensure they are well-prepared for various legislative and public engagements. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and possess a strong knowledge of the legislative process. Key responsibilities include supporting the Member in legislative strategy, drafting materials, and providing responsive constituent services. The role requires a professional with the ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience with office management, and fluency in relevant software, is preferred. The position demands a high level of detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the values of the company.
