Job Summary And Responsibilities Position Overview We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE advanced practice provider (ARNP or PA‑C) in our Urology department at our Downtown location. Aspects Of The Advanced Practitioner Role Outpatient General Urology clinic at the Downtown location as well as surgical first assist. Schedule: We partner with you to develop a schedule that accommodates your needs as much as possible, while also considering access and patient care needs. There is currently no call for this position. Experience: Advanced Practitioner experience and/or Urology experience or exposure is a plus, but not a requirement. Learning opportunities: The team has a teaching culture and is a conducive environment for providers newly out of school and/or new to the field of Urology. A training and mentorship program is in place to help guide new providers to Virginia Mason and support them for long‑term success. Qualifications Job Requirements – Nurse Practitioner Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority. Job Requirements – Physician Assistant This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
