Job Duties

Be available for consultation regarding complex psychiatric cases.
Provide clinical guidance when cases exceed the PMHNP's experience or scope.
Assist with treatment planning for high-risk patients.
Support evidence-based psychiatric practice.
Reviews prescribing protocols.
Assists with controlled substance management questions.
Provides consultation on treatment-resistant or medically complex cases.
Participates in any chart review requirements outlined in the SCA
Participate in periodic chart reviews.
Discuss adverse events or unusual outcomes.
Review compliance with standards of care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Review 5-10 Charts per month per PMHNP

Education

DEA registration
Board certification
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
