Overview
Speech Language Pathologist needed for an acute care assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting in Willows, California. This travel temporary position starts on 09/14/2026 and runs for 17 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,511 to $2,577, with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shifts are 5x8 days.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments and diagnostic evaluations for residents with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs in an acute care–oriented SNF setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; provide direct therapy and modify plans based on progress.
- Document evaluation findings, treatment activities, and outcomes in the patient record; ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, nurses, OT/PT, social work) to coordinate care, update care plans, and support discharge planning.
- Educate residents and families/caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and home practice activities; promote safe, evidence-based practice.

Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- 1+ year of experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and participate in a travel assignment
