Our organization, affiliated with a prominent medical institution, is seeking a physician leader to take on the role of Chief of Anesthesiology at our facility in Queens, New York. This position is dedicated to serving the culturally diverse communities in the area.

The Chief of Anesthesiology will oversee the administration, planning, organization, and overall management of the Anesthesia department. This role also involves providing care to patients across all age groups, addressing a variety of conditions including multiple diseases, trauma, pregnancy, and other complications.

• Lead the Anesthesia department in administrative and operational functions.
• Deliver high-quality anesthetic care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage departmental planning and organization.

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Possession of a valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
• Strong clinical skills and teaching experience are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior leadership or management experience in academic medical centers or public health systems is preferred.

Additionally, this position includes a faculty appointment with the affiliated medical school, which will be aligned with the candidate's credentials, experience, and qualifications.
