Maintenance Mechanic (2nd Shift)
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support a food and beverage manufacturing facility by maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Support PLC-controlled equipment troubleshooting
- Document maintenance work and use CMMS systems
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Follow all OSHA, GMP, and food safety (HACCP) standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or tech school required
- 5+ years of maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with PLC systems and automation
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to bend, climb, and work around machinery
- Comfortable in varying temperatures and production environments
