Post Closing Specialist

Position Overview Post Closing Specialist II responsible for determining the recordability and insurability of signed loan documents after a closing. The role includes reviewing recordable documents, executing quality control steps, uploading jurisdictions, following up for scan backs and original documents, communicating with borrowers, clients, and internal staff, and addressing inquiries. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Review critical recordable documents and forms for proper execution, including state and county guidelines and notarization. Execute proper steps in ResWare to QC Pass or Fail and deliver Final Closing Package signed to lender via required means. Upload e-recording jurisdictions to Simplifile via integration in ResWare to ensure workflow compliance. Follow up for scan backs and original documents from the notary and send signed loan documents to lender based on client requirements to meet SLA. Communicate with clients, borrowers, and management on missing documents needed for recording, and address inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Assist with policy exceptions and order new deeds/subordinations or other required documents. Track production and communicate regularly with management. Monitor a group email box and provide timely responses to inquiries. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; experience within the real estate or vendor management service industry preferred. Minimum 2 years of prior work‑related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Attention to detail, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of client‑based systems. Ability to problem‑solve and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred experience with ALTA Best Practices. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $19.00 to $27.00 based on skills and experience. Eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. 20 days of paid time off annually (prorated by hire date). 9 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays. Parental leave available.
