To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Essential FunctionsPerform balance sheet account reconciliations and reviews.Responsible for reviewing journal entries.Supervise and manage accounting department and employees.Review and approve vendor payments.Assist with all aspects of the accounting function including Bank, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, invoices, payments, reconciliations, general ledger, provisioning, and all accounting functions.Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.Ensure all financial data is accurate, timely and complete for management review.Support budgeting and forecasting activities.Travel and expense review, analysis, and auditingManage interactions with tax authorities (opening and closing new state accounts sales tax and withholding tax).Assistance with quarterly external/internal and annual audits. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
