As a Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun12:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and relevant security-related activities in required reports and communicate concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
