Expert Systems Engineer - Product OwnerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Expert Systems Engineer - Product Owner to join the Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team in Hazelwood, MO. This role will support in the GVHMS portfolio within the Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization.This team develops and fields aircraft health management systems across multiple platforms—including F/A-18, E/A-18, F-15, T7, MQ-25, and proprietary programs—by acquiring and managing aircraft health and usage data, performing assessments, updating configurations, and recommending maintenance actions. The team is looking for a highly motivated systems engineer to develop requirements, perform integration activities, manage project schedule & budget, and take on the role of a Product Owner (PO) within the GVHMS portfolio.This role requires interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure software products are developed in alignment with supporting customer, business and program needs. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical system engineering skills as well as project management skills. Good oral and written communication is essential to succeed in this position. This role will work closely with the software development team, hardware team, test team, other System Engineers, and leadership. This position may also require occasional domestic and international travel to ensure successful implementation at customer sites.Position Responsibilities:Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutionsEvaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfacesPerforms various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecturePerforms analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission successDevelops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processesResolves cross-functional technical issuesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
