Role Description The Payroll Benefits Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting accurate payroll processing and effective administration of employee benefits. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating benefits enrollment and changes, maintaining employee benefit records, and assisting with payroll-related questions. The specialist will respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, deductions, and eligibility, and work with vendors or internal stakeholders to resolve issues. Additional responsibilities may include preparing reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and helping streamline payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and clarity.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits skills, with experience managing enrollments, changes, and related documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to review data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate payroll and benefits calculations.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to explain benefits and payroll information to employees and partners.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, demonstrating patience, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented approach when assisting employees.
- Relevant experience in payroll and benefits, familiarity with HR or payroll systems, and knowledge of basic employment and benefits regulations are beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are expected.
- Prior experience in HR, payroll, or benefits roles and education in business, human resources, or a related field is a plus.
