Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst at Whitecap Search plays a critical role in the administration and continuous improvement of compensation programs. This position ensures that compensation practices support business objectives, comply with legal standards, and promote internal equity and external competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Compensation Program Management
  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing analyses, and FLSA classifications to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Maintain and evolve the organization's job architecture, including creating and updating job codes to support business needs
  • Partner with HRIS to support compensation systems (e.g., merit tools), including configuration, testing, and security roles
• Annual Compensation Cycle Support
  • Support end-to-end annual compensation processes, including merit and bonus cycles
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for HR Business Partners, providing expertise and guidance throughout the process
  • Develop and deliver communication materials, training, and tools to stakeholders
• Market Analysis & Reporting
  • Participate in compensation surveys (Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, etc.), including submissions, vendor coordination, and payment processing
  • Analyze survey data to produce actionable insights and inform compensation strategy
  • Generate ad hoc and recurring compensation reports using HR systems (e.g., Oracle)
• Compliance & Governance
  • Monitor federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Conduct audits related to minimum wage, pay equity, and FLSA classification
  • Partner with Legal and HR leadership to mitigate risk and maintain compliant practices
• Strategic Initiatives & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead or support global and enterprise initiatives (e.g., living wage studies, ESG/CSRD reporting)
  • Identify opportunities to enhance compensation tools, processes, and data integrity
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability

Requirements

• Oracle HR Experience (nice to have but preferred).
